Consideration of Target Audience*

Chase and Status’s target audience is young adults aged 16-25. Their main interests would be going out clubbing and to concerts. They probably wouldn't have very strong religious beliefs as the band talk about drug taking and have sexual references in their videos. The band would appeal to both genders and their fan base is situated all over the world, probably more predominantly in Europe and the US. Their audience would probably be more working/middle class as a lot of their lyrics are based on issues of this class. The political beliefs of this audience is not really anti government but their beliefs would be more like they can do what they want and not to conform to what society seems to expect of you.
